The first process at properly functioning sewage treatment plant comprises separation and removal of solid and mineral contaminants, as well as grease and organic matter from the sand. Ekowater’s devices for mechanical treatment include: decanting units for transfer and sewer discharge stations, vertical sieve and screen grit chamber that can be equipped with integrated grit washers and grease traps.
